In addition to offering one-to-one tuition and group classes at both of our centres, the Diane Mitchell Music School are also active in the community. Diane started the Renfrewshire Community Gospel choir in 2015, using her experience of coordinating school choirs and having sang in choirs herself. The choir meet on Tuesdays at 7pm in WEvolution,  25 Moss Street, Paisley and perform regularly at events. More information on the Renfrewshire Community Gospel Choir can be found here.

We currently partner with the Includeme2Club in Neilston and support young people with learning difficulties through music. We provide weekly workshops throughout the year on Wednesdays.

We are also pleased to be supporting the Carnwadric WIN Project from the 23rd January by providing weekly ASN music classes and also general PreSchool music classes. The WIN Project serves the communities of Arden, Carnwadric, Kennishead and Regent’s Park in south-west Glasgow by providing the services of a Family Worker to listen, sign-post, visit and support local families. The project also provides weekly Creative Arts sessions for children and young people during school term-time, as well as one-to-one work with a small number of children and young people which will nurture and support development of their self-esteem and confidence.

We are available for community projects and can provide teachers and workshops for various events. We have also previously provided workshops for ROAR (Reaching Older Adults in Renfrewshire) and Geez a Break. More information on our community workshops can be found here.
